Where tradition
meets the loom

LoomeraRugs brings you premium handcrafted carpets from Bhadohi — a city whose looms have hummed for over 400 years. Known as the "Carpet City of India," Bhadohi is where 90% of India's hand-knotted rugs are born.

Every piece you receive is more than a carpet. It is a record of hours — sometimes hundreds — spent knotting, dyeing, trimming, and washing by hands that know no other craft.

01
Handcrafted Excellence

Every knot tied by hand. No machines, no shortcuts. Our artisans follow traditional knotting methods that produce carpets of extraordinary durability and detail.

02
Natural Materials

Premium New Zealand wool, hand-spun cotton, and plant-based dyes that develop a beautiful patina with age. Safe for children, kind to the planet.

03
Timeless Design

Patterns that speak both to tradition and modern interiors — always rooted in the rich visual vocabulary of Bhadohi.

The Craft

From loom to your home

01
Yarn Preparation

Raw wool is cleaned, carded, and hand-spun. Natural dyes are prepared from plants and minerals using age-old recipes.

02
Pattern Drawing

Artisans translate intricate designs onto graph paper. Each colour block corresponds to thousands of individual knots.

03
Hand Knotting

Row by row, knot by knot. A single square foot of fine carpet can take a full day to complete.

04
Finishing

The carpet is washed, stretched, clipped, and inspected. Only then does it bear the LoomeraRugs name.

"The carpet arrived beautifully packaged and exceeded every expectation. The craftsmanship is extraordinary — you can feel the centuries of tradition woven into every fibre."
